Chip Saltsman and Basil Smikle debate the politics of cool when it comes to Obama

“Viewpoint” host Eliot Spitzer; Chip Saltsman, GOP strategist and former Mike Huckabee campaign manager; and Democratic strategist Basil Smikle Jr. analyze an anti-Obama ad paid for by Karl Rove’s super PAC and question Mitt Romney’s position on the student loan interest rate hike. Spitzer says the ad actually makes Obama look cool, which will only help the president when it comes to younger voters. But Saltsman thinks looking cool isn’t a good thing: “If [Obama] was running for high school class president, he’d have this election hands down.”
